My nephew purchase his first car on 12/15/2012 and got totally hosed. He trusted the car sales sleaze (rough lesson #1) and purchased a car that had been in two accidents and isn't safe to drive (rough lesson #2).
He returned on numerous occasions to see if he could work out a trade or get some relief on the cost of the vehicle as it will cost him another $2K to get fixed.
This last weekend I went with him to see if we could reconcile - total dump of a location, looking to take advantage of any person walking through their door and no interest in discussing any type of trade for a car that works. My strong advice: Stay far away!
Monetary Loss: $5200.
